Spherical plain bearings.
Compact, durable, and flexible
Spherical plain bearings are machine elements that enable movement in multiple directions and can absorb both radial and axial forces. They compensate for misalignment or misalignment and ensure a smooth, rotatable connection between moving components.
Spherical plain bearings are used wherever reliable support is required under changing load directions or non-linear movements, for example, in cylinder construction, plant engineering, vehicle manufacturing, or conveyor and lifting technology.

Product overview
50 productsOur spherical plain bearings comply with the international standard DIN ISO 12240-1 (formerly DIN 648). The E and K series cover a wide range of applications and installation situations, from simple spherical plain bearings with sliding pairs to heavy-duty special bearings with maintenance-free sliding layers.
The following are available:
- Maintenance-free spherical plain bearings with coated sliding surfaces (e.g. PTFE)
- Regreasable spherical plain bearings with steel/steel or steel/bronze pairings
These bearings are characterized by their long service life, compact design, and high operational reliability – even under continuous load or adverse environmental conditions.
Our spherical plain bearings are available in various materials and designs:
- Inner and outer rings made of hardened bearing steel, stainless steel, or special materials
- Corrosion protection through surface coating (e.g., zinc, phosphating)
- Various bearing clearance and fit options
- Optional seals for applications exposed to dirt and water
Thanks to this diversity, our spherical plain bearings can be used in almost any mechanical design. Whether for series production or special solutions.
Whether prototype or series production: we support you from the initial design to commissioning with technical expertise and the highest quality standards.
