Hydraulic rod ends.
For powerful use on hydraulic cylinders
Hydraulic rod ends are specially developed connecting elements that enable the reliable transmission of tensile and compressive forces while reliably compensating for misalignment, tilting, or swiveling movements. Their high load-bearing capacity and precise fit make them essential in fluid technology, mobile hydraulics, and mechanical and plant engineering.

- Internal threaded rod ends with clamping slot for fixing to the piston rod
- Weldable hydraulic rod ends in round or rectangular shape according to DIN ISO 122404
- Regreasable versions with integrated grease nipple for long-lasting use under high loads
- High-strength steel components, phosphated or coated for protection against wear and corrosion
- Compatible with maintenance-required spherical plain bearings in steel/steel sliding pairs and also with built-in maintenance-free spherical plain bearings steel/PTFE
Available series comply with standards including DIN ISO 12240 and ISO 8133. Depending on the application, compact, narrow, or particularly load-bearing versions are available.
Hydraulic rod ends are used in a wide variety of industrial and mobile applications:
- Construction machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, compactors)
- Agricultural and forestry equipment (e.g., mowers, front loaders)
- Conveyor and lifting technology
- Hydraulic clamping systems
- Testing and pressing equipment
- Off-highway vehicles
- Traffic and rail vehicles
They are used wherever high forces need to be reliably transmitted while freedom of movement and tolerance compensation are required.
- High static and dynamic load capacity
- Swivel movement up to ±15°, depending on design
- Reliable load transfer with changing load directions
- Compact design with optimal force transmission
- Easy maintenance thanks to relubricatable bearing point
- Large selection of connection types – threaded, clamped, welded versions
For particularly demanding environments or customer-specific requirements, we offer individual adaptations, e.g. special threads, coated surfaces, or stainless steel variants for applications at risk of corrosion.
The connection to the cylinder is achieved via screwing, clamping, or direct welding. All options ensure a secure connection with optimal force transmission.
3D CAD data for the common options can be found in our download area or directly with the corresponding products and can be downloaded after registration. Upon request, we also provide direct support to designers and developers in selecting the appropriate rod end for their specific application.
