Groundbreaking ceremony: HÖHN & FLURO expand location in Rosenfeld
Growth with a vision
In addition to increase production capacity, the planning focuses on optimized material flows, modern working conditions, and sustainable construction concepts. The company already prioritizes environmental management measures and its own energy generation, including photovoltaic systems on-site. This approach will also be integrated into the new construction project.
The ambitious project includes two automated pallet storage systems with 3,404 storage spaces, as well as a technical highlight: a triple-deep shuttle warehouse that achieves maximum storage density on a compact area with 26,352 storage spaces.
Commitment to Rosenfeld
The investment is also a clear signal for Rosenfeld as a business location and the Zollernalb region. With a history spanning more than 50 years, HÖHN and FLURO are consciously committing to long-term development at their existing location.
"Today's groundbreaking is a special moment for us. This new building is more than just an expansion of our capacities; it is a foundation for our innovative strength and competitiveness in the coming decades," explains Managing Director Reiner Höhn. "By investing in state-of-the-art logistics technology and sustainable infrastructure, we are clearly committing to our roots here in Rosenfeld and creating the conditions to meet the high demands of our global customers with the utmost precision and speed in the future."
HÖHN and FLURO currently employ more than 160 people and supply customers with precision parts, spherical plain bearings, and rod ends for various industrial sectors. Continuous investment in technology, quality, and personnel has been a central key factor since the company's founding.
Looking Ahead
The new building is a strategic response to the positive business development of recent years. Due to the steadily increasing demand for HÖHN and FLURO products, existing capacities are reaching their limits.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of the visible phase of a project that will sustainably shape the companies' development. Completion of the new buildings is scheduled for the end of 2027.
